Wise Ram Theatre: Sundream: Monologue Writing Workshop
Want to learn how to write plays? Want have a chance to hear your work performed by professional actors? Join this short course!
This is the first of two workshops in Jaywick run by scriptwriter Molly Anne Sweeney, exploring how to craft a monologue for the stage inspired by your local surroundings - no experience necessary.
Whether you're a seasoned writer or just starting out, this two-part course is designed to help you craft compelling monologues inspired by everyday life and the local environment.
Learn to develop characters and what makes a monologue work on stage, not just on paper!
Come alone or bring a friend - all are welcome! Don't miss this opportunity to hone your writing skills and connect with fellow creatives.
The workshop is free. Please bring something to write with to the workshop.
The workshop is delivered together with Tendring Community Writers and is the first of two workshops, with the second being held in September (date to be confirmed).
