Manifesto For Essex: Climate Emergency Youth Summit
Are you passionate about culture, nature and the environment? Aged 14-25-years-old living or studying in Essex? Then join the Climate Emergency Youth Summit as part of the FREE EA Sustain Festival
Essex Book Festival is delighted to be hosting its second Manifesto for Essex as part of the EA Festival, a cultural platform for young people aged 14 to 25-years-old living in Essex to express their thoughts, fears and ideas about climate change.
The FREE festival at Firstsite, Colchester, will bring together some of the UK’s leading nature writers, artists, environmental activists and politicians - including Costa Book of the Year award-winning writer and environmentalist, Helen MacDonald, multi-award-winning author and naturalist, Mark Cocker, Tony Juniper, Natural England Chair, Sass Brown, one of the leading thinkers about fashion, business and sustainability, and Professor Alistair Driver, one of the country’s leading proponents of rewilding - for a weekend of inspirational talks, performances and exhibitions.
This event is supported by Arts Council England, Essex County Council, and EA Festival.
