Workshop: One Day Seated Willow Hare Sculpture course with Jo Hammond
Join experienced tutor Jo Hammond for this workshop: weave supple willow twigs into a charming seated hare sculpture.
You’ll learn to weave natural brown willow into sculptural forms starting with a simple framework. You will then build the shape with freeweave, make the head, legs and finally beautiful big ears which bring your sculpture to life.
Note- willow weaving is moderately hard work and does require a firm grip.
Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided. Please either bring a packed lunch or visit the on-site Tiptree Tearoom.
The ticket price includes all materials and any necessary tools will be provided. This workshop is only suitable for over 18-years-old.
