Free family fun in the great outdoors this summer
Meet on the meadow at Danbury Country Park for some free child-led free play in the great outdoors, run by the Essex Country Parks Outdoor Learning Team.
Come with family and friends and bring a picnic lunch, suitable for all generations!
Activities and equipment available for children and families to use and enjoy will vary depending on the day and the weather but may include:
- Hammocks
- Den Building
- Tarps
- Mud Kitchen
- Sweep Nets
- ID charts
- Squirrel Trail (short trail around the park looking for squirrel pictures – basic orienteering)
- Water Play
- Hapa Zome
- 4 way tug of war
- Slacklines
This is an informal drop-in session with no need to pre-book.
