The Deepenings Project: Midsummer Ritual
Join The Deepenings Project for a folk art ritual as they mark the summer solstice at Cudmore Grove Country Park.
The guardians from The Deepenings Project will conduct a small ritual to pay tribute to the sun and the grassland, and to consecrate the site with an offering spirited here from Avebury.
And at 3:57pm the famous Obby Oss and his band of translators will answer some questions about the future.
This free event has been designed to celebrate this special place and to mark the end of “The Deepenings Project”.
A multidisciplinary arts project that has delivered a new walking trail for Cudmore Grove that aims to re-enchant the changing environment here, and encourage people to be creative outdoors.
Supported by the Essex County Council Arts and Cultural Fund.
