Temple at War: Keeping History Alive

Temple at War is a two day military and vintage event packed full of everything to create one of the largest interactive and immersive historic re-enactment events in the south east of England whilst being totally family friendly.

The show has a fantastic reputation for its portrayal of the past 150 years of allied and axis engagement. This event provides the most exciting sense of walking back in time. Hear the stories, see the sights. Prepare for the unexpected. Prepare to get involved.

The experience that is Temple at War will start from the moment that you arrive and last until it is time to go home.

We are proud to offer free of charge entry to serving military and Veteran personnel and Cadet Unites proudly supporting the Essex Army Services Covenant.

Please be aware that due to the nature of the event, the loud noises that will be experienced, close quartered spontaneous re-enactment and that the site is a scheduled listed monument. Dogs are not allowed at this event, unless deemed as support or guide dogs.

Cressing Temple Barns: World's Edge Fantasy Fayre

World’s Edge is an unusual village. It spins through space and time, picking up inhabitants as it goes. Walk into World’s Edge and you might encounter fae, mermaids, starfighters or people from the distant reaches of history.
