Place To Be: A Woodland Weaving Project
Multidisciplinary artist Eloise Pilbeam is launching a series of free weaving workshops to create a community artwork at Parndon Wood Nature Reserve, Harlow..
As more hands get involved, the sculpture will grow in texture, colour, and complexity — a shared creation, like a nest or den, built through many small contributions.
The final piece will reflect the diversity and creativity of everyone who takes part. Just like bees building a hive or ants forming a colony, this is a communal effort rooted in nature, creativity, and connection.
Everyone welcome including children and families— no experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to drop in and weave a little magic in the woods.
Drop in between 12pm to 3pm every Saturday and Sunday throughout August 2025.
