Jaywick Martello Tower Spring Talk 2023: Raising the curtain on the Aurora Borealis

Join us at Jaywick Martello Tower for the final of our Spring Talks 2023 series about The Northern lights, which provide one of the most spectacular natural phenomena on Earth.

This talk by Jonathan Clough will include many images of this amazing sight and will explain how the borealis are formed and what the different colours and shapes mean. The Northern lights have been visible throughout the evolution of man, so the talk will include a little about some of the ancient legends and folklore associated with the Aurora.
