Jaywick Martello Tower: Junior Coastal Open 2023
We are now accepting applications for the Junior Coastal Open 2023.
Jaywick Martello Tower is pleased to invite under-18s to submit artwork by Sunday 29 October 2023 to be part of the Junior Coastal Open Exhibition at the Tower in early 2024.
The new Junior Coastal Open will be a youth extension of the annual JMT Coastal Open and invites all those under the age of 18 to submit artwork and crafts that explore the themes of community, environment or heritage for the exhibition that will be displayed between Saturday 6 January until Sunday 25 February 2024.
Applications will need to be submitted by Sunday 29 October 2023. There is no cost to enter the exhibition, and up to two pieces per young person can be entered.
Successful applicants will be contacted by Sunday 19 November and will have the choice to sell their work while on display for a donation that will then be given to a local charity, or can take their work home with them at the end of the exhibition.
