Jaywick Martello Tower: Artist Talk - David J. Shaw

Join David J Shaw for a relaxed, informal opportunity to hear directly from the photographer, see examples of his work, and learn more about documentary photography.

Shaw's work has focused extensively on Jaywick and its community, capturing powerful stories of place, people, and change.

He will be visiting the Tower to talk about his new book, discuss his photographic practice, and answer questions about his work and career.

This artist talk is part of a series of events organised by Karen Dennis from Ketchup Clothes, whose exhibition is currently running at Jaywick Martello Tower.

The exhibition is a retrospective of work produced from recycled materials, community engagement initiatives and local artists.
