ARKADE is an exciting new art project by INSTAR (artists Trish and Nick) taking place in Jaywick and the surrounding areas between November 2022 and spring 2023.
Join artists Trisha and Nick for their ARKADE project to discover the ocean, as they shine a light on the wonder that's beneath the waves and to creatively explore the impact levels of climate change and rising sea levels on communities living in Jaywick.
Taking inspiration from the array of lights, colours and sounds found in seafront amusements, ARKADE will ignite an imagination for the environment and coastal life, exploring the use of light-art, visual art and graphic print, resulting in a range of illuminating workshops, events, public artwork and exhibitions.
