Forest Schools
Don’t let the children have all the fun, forest school and connecting to nature is for everyone, come and join us. Leave the electronics at home and build relationships and skills whilst making memories with your friends and family.
Hidden away at Danbury Country Park, our Family Forest School sessions offer you and your family the opportunity to reconnect with nature and each other. Create lasting memories around the campfire, explore the native flora and fauna, swing in a hammock, challenge yourself to the rope ladder or just chill by the stream.
Join us for Woodland Play sessions. Aimed at the under-5s, this series of six woodland play sessions includes nature activities, forest crafts, imagination, physical play and building things.
Join us for a series of Home Education sessions. Activities include forest crafts, imagination, physical play and building things. Running during term times.
Dare to book Spooky Forest School running in October half term with themed fun in the great outdoors.
Last but not least, Wild Wednesdays run in the school summer holidays during August.
Other school holiday sessions are sometimes available often also at Thorndon Country Park.
